Teachers' Corner! |
We are delighted to launch the Teachers' Corner. It is a unique place where we can share our experiences of bringing origami to the classroom. We'll incorporate various subjects ranging from math, language arts, social studies and visual art as well as addressing various learning standards. Origami benefits are numerous.
We will introduce a new base and diagram one or more models that start using this base. Familiarity with these is most beneficial.

Mae Dean received a Fulbright Memorial Fund Scholarship to Japan and lived in Okinawa for two years. She was a finalist for Oklahoma's Teacher of the Year and teaches in Muskogee Public Schools in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

and libraries for children, teachers and parents. He also frequenly performs storigami in cultural festivals. He also started the week long folding festival called Origami Heaven at Stony Brook University with its primary focus being educating and origami outreach. The festival is very successful in the local community and boasts of hundreds of attendees every year.
